I was so moved by the eclipse. It sent me into an odyssey that was magical and mystical, starting long before it began. To ready for the event, I dug into eclipse mythology. My heart breaks AND my nephew is safe.

My nephew, Connor, lives just outside Charlottesville. He came into town today for the rally. This was his first demonstration and as an (overprotective) aunt, I wanted to make sure someone had tabs on him throughout the day. When we spoke this morning, we made a plan.
